Help us spread the word!
"When we started Upstream Arts 15 years ago, our focus was on the individual," says Co-Founder and Artistic Director Matt Guidry. Now, over a decade later, we're getting ready to launch our first ever open-to-the-public Self-Advocacy classes for adults with disabilities. "One of the greatest needs of our disability community is the opportunity to manage one’s own life choices, to lead a self-determined life. That's why these classes designed to strengthen self-advocacy skills are so important."
Want to support this new branch of our programming? Sign up or help us spread the word by sharing this flyer (alt text embedded)! Whether you join us for one class or once a week, we're hoping that our Self-Advocacy classes will become a regular practice space where we can build community, creativity, skills, healthy boundaries, and a deeper sense of self.
