Reading Project Receives $5,000
Dawn Nelson, CLU, ChFC (MVP-Madison) nominated, and the NAILBA Charitable Foundation Board of Directors awarded a 2020 grant for $5,000 to the Madison Reading Project for the Early Learning Books for At-Risk Children.
The Madison Reading Project's mission is to ignite a love of reading with underserved children in Dane County and throughout Wisconsin. Books in the home are the single biggest indicator of academic success. This grant will help them continue to give free books directly to children from low income households who have no books at home.
Critical Illness Q's Answered
Please join us on Wednesday, October 7th at 10 AM Central to hear from the Manager of Underwriting Services at Assurity. We will kick it off with a brief overview of our Critical Illness (CI) product followed by a Q&A session.
  • What happens if my client has a history of heart attack, stroke or cancer?
  • How does my client’s family history come into play?
  • What is the average turnaround time on CI cases?
  • Will my client’s occupation impact their chance of obtaining coverage?

LIAM: Beyond September
Beyond September
September #LIAM2020 may be ending, but our work is not complete. According to Life Happens, 66% of consumers agree that the pandemic has made them better understand the need for life insurance. However, 43% are not protecting their loved ones from the unexpected.
Beginning the conversation about life insurance can be a challenge. That's why we have brought many of our carrier's resources together in one place; to help you build awareness with your clients about the valuable role of life insurance.
Regulations Update
Transition for AG49
Effective November 25, 2020, the National Association of Insurance Commissioners will enact enhancements to Actuarial Guideline XLIX (AG49) known as AG49-A. By this date, all IUL illustrations sold by US life insurers must comply with new regulations to  standardize how maximum rates can be shown on an IUL illustration. These changes will not impact the policy’s actual performance or product features. Uniformity across illustrations helps clients to more easily compare the policies of different companies.
