Welcome to the August edition of the SOLVE-CHD monthly updates 2025. This monthly e-newsletter will keep you up to date with the key progress of the SOLVE-CHD projects and provide updates on our events and initiatives. Simply 
email solve-chd.info@sydney.edu.au if you wish to share/add anything from your area that is directly/indirectly related to the SOLVE-CHD program. We would also strongly encourage you to share your research highlights and successes that is relevant to cardiac rehabilitation and secondary prevention with us so that we can celebrate your achievements with our network. 
ACRA Cardiac Rehabilitation Program Excellence Initiative - Webinar
ACRA is hosting a webinar on the recently launched Cardiac Rehabilitation Program Excellence Initiative! This initiative aims to recognise and celebrate cardiac rehabilitation (CR) programs across Australia who are delivering high quality care that meets key performance targets. Expressions of Interest (EOIs) are now open to interested CR programs.
Join the webinar to go through the EOI process together, hear the specific targets for each criteria explained, and have any questions you may have answered.

Call for Papers! Heart Lung and Circulation Special Issue
Heart, Lung and Circulation is excited to present a special issue on the evolving landscape of contemporary cardiac rehabilitation and secondary prevention. This special issue will focus on innovative program delivery methods, emerging technologies, workforce, and health equity challenges. We invite researchers, clinicians and healthcare professionals to submit original research articles, focused research reports, and reviews.
Submissions are open until 1 December 2025
