CARSON SHROYER

Lakota East senior Carson Shroyer has been named this week’s Putters Athlete of the Week. A standout linebacker and team leader, Shroyer delivered a huge performance in the Thunderhawks’ recent victory over Oak Hills, helping East improve to 2-0 on the season.

Shroyer was everywhere on the field, racking up 8 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, and a game-changing interception returned for a touchdown. His relentless effort and big-play ability were instrumental in securing the win and setting the tone for the Hawks’ strong start.

“Carson is the type of player who makes everyone around him better,” said Lakota East Head Coach Jon Kitna. “He plays with passion, toughness, and a team-first mindset that embodies what Thunderhawk Football is all about.”

ADY SCHAEFER

Lakota East senior Ady Schaefer has been selected as this week’s Putters Athlete of the Week. A key leader for the Thunderhawks Girls Tennis program, Ady has set the tone this fall with her energy, toughness, and team-first attitude.

Schaefer’s senior leadership and experience have been instrumental in guiding the Hawks throughout the season. She is a true team player, always encouraging and lifting up her teammates while bringing unmatched positivity and determination to the court.

Known for her tremendous work ethic and competitive spirit, Ady gives everything she has both on and off the court. She has demonstrated exceptional mental and physical toughness, never backing down from a challenge. That resilience was on full display in her thrilling three-hour victory over Lakota West, where she battled to secure a huge win for her team.
