How’s it going now that Alan Huss, BSBA’02, is no longer a head coach and back on the Creighton bench as an associate coach? It feels great — just like old times, Huss said. Why? Because he’s working for this program. And working with an elite coach (who happens to also be a mentor and a friend). Yes, one day, Huss will replace coach Greg McDermott. That’s exciting. Ever since his first ILAC trip as a fourth-year dental student, Don Czaplicki, BA'85, DDS'89, has always wanted to go back. He got that chance this summer. And his son, a Creighton med student, joined him.

In 2006, 13 summer fellows were selected for a new program that supported their curiosity by equipping them with resources to explore meaningful research projects. And 20 years later, there are nearly 300 Ferlic Fellows with stories of discovery to share. Read more about the program’s impact.
