TOCSL EVENTS

Good Morning, Commuters
FREE breakfast for commuter students on Wednesday, February 7th from 9-11:30am (end time may vary while supplies last). It is an excellent opportunity for off-campus students to connect over breakfast. TOCSL serves ~150 UMD students per month!
FIRST GMC of the spring semester. We will be handing out our exclusive muffin man t-shirts to the the first 50 students, while supplies lasts.

TOCSL Tuesdays
TOCSL Tuesdays are back. Join us on Feb 13th to craft a candygram bag for yourself or a loved one. We'll have plenty of goodies, and enjoy some free cookies as you make them.

Second Look Fair Spring 2024
Stop by the TOCSL table at the Second Look Fair to pick up a giveaway. UMD has over 400 student organizations and University departments participate in the Second Look Fair annually. Check out our Organization List page to see the full list of participating organizations and departments! *The organization list will be updated after the event registration closes and SORC Staff finalizes their list.

Join the CARE Team at UMD
The CARE to Stop Violence office provides free, confidential advocacy and therapy services to survivors of sexual assault, relationship violence, stalking, and sexual harassment. CARE simultaneously empowers the campus community to prevent violence through educational presentations, events, and outreach activities.
Are you interested in joining our team? Applications for CARE'S Peer Programs are open!

CARE offers three Peer Programs for current undergraduate students:
Peer Education, Peer Outreach, and Peer Advocacy. Our year-long programs enable students to gain professional experience and earn 6 course credits.
Students will learn about power-based violence, support survivors, develop their public speaking skills, and gain program planning experience

Conferences & Visitor Services is Hiring!
Conferences and Visitor Services coordinates campus services like reservations, transport, dining, and lodging, to support conferences, camps, events, and academic programs. Gain hands-on experience and develop your leadership and communications skills for your future career. Visit our Summer Employment website for details.
2024 Student Experiences & Environment Survey (SEES)
Design best-practices suggest a large font size for easy readability both on desktop and mobile devices. Watch out for the Student Experiences and Environment Survey (SEES) that comes out on February 11th! The survey only takes 15 minutes to complete if you are one of the 10,000 full-time undergraduate students ages 18-25 selected.
