'Tis the Season to Be Jolly


Please join St. Michael’s Parents’ Association and Board of Trustees for our Annual Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting, this Wednesday, December 6. 
The festivities include a float parade around The Green, choral performances, caroling, and the lighting of the campus tree. Santa will even make a special appearance at this much-anticipated, fun-filled event!

  • 5:30 p.m.           Campus Opens
  • 6:00 p.m.           Parade Starts
  • 6:30 p.m.           Welcome from Mr. Gregg
  • 6:40 p.m.           Tree Lighting
  • 6:45 p.m.           Caroling
  • 7:00 p.m.           Evening Concludes
Safety: 
  • The safety of our community is our greatest concern. Students MUST be accompanied by their parents, and cannot be dropped off for this event.
Important Parking Info:
  • The St. Michael's Campus will be CLOSED for parking/car traffic
  • Off-site parking is available at Trinity Episcopal School
  • Travel through our lighted Candy Cane Forest and join us for the festivities
  • Off-duty police officers will be on-site to assist with traffic
  • Stay tuned for more parking details that will be sent out mid-week
Letters to Santa: 
  • Elves are hard at work building The North Pole Post for students to mail their letters to Santa. The mailbox arrives on Wednesday, December 6, and will remain on campus until December 19. Please encourage your students to write their letters and drop them in this special mailbox.

Hour of Code

In addition to extensive coding lessons that are already part of our technology curriculum, our Dragons in Grades 1-8 will observe Hour of Code week from December 4 - December 8. (Kindergarten is working on keyboarding skills.)
The Hour of Code, designed to celebrate coding and computer science skills, takes place yearly during Computer Science Education Week.  It has become a global movement with participation in 180 countries and 45 different languages.

Middle School Holiday Dance on Friday: Get Your Tickets


Middle Schoolers, join us for the Winter Wonderland Dance on Friday, December 8, from 7-9 p.m. in the Great Hall.

  • Tacky Sweater Contest: Be sure to wear your most festive, tacky holiday attire!
  • Bring your water bottle
  • Drop-off and pick-up for the dance will be in the center (Green) loop at the front door of Singleton Hall.
  • Tickets must be purchased IN ADVANCE (and by NOON on December 8) via the link below.
