UChicago Graduate Council
Graduate Council is the University of Chicago’s interdivisional student government, serving over 10,000 graduate students across all divisions and professional schools. We offer a wide variety of events and initiatives throughout the year focused on building community, improving the student experience, and helping you make the most of your time here!
Events include our quarterly flagship events (such as the Gargoyle Gala on November 8), off-campus activities exploring all that Chicago has to offer, and on-campus opportunities to connect with your fellow graduate students. We also offer many resources to support you, from legal advising to Divisional Representatives who will advocate on your behalf. To meet your Graduate Council and learn more about what we do, join us for our Welcome Party on November 3!
Next week, we are also excited to open applications for the Graduate Council Event Fund, which supports student-run interdisciplinary events, and Graduate Council Club Fund, which supports new graduate clubs promoting interdivisional community.
Be sure to follow us on Instagram, sign up for our newsletter, secure tickets on our Eventbrite, and check out our website to stay up to date!
