Playground Workday, July 30
All dads are asked to come Thursday, July 30 at 6:00 p.m. to help get our playground ready for the 2015-2016 school year. Please bring rakes, wheelbarrows, gas blowers and shovels. With great attendance, it will only take about an hour to get the area in shape for your students. Remember, this will help keep your child safe on the playground this year!
Orientation, August 10
Our orientation meeting will be Monday, August 10 at 6:30 p.m. in the church auditorium. Mrs. Cruce will introduce all of our staff and go over procedures. You will also have the opportunity to meet our PFTA officers, Watchdog director, gymnastics instructor, taekwondo instructor and others. After the meeting in the auditorium, everyone will be dismissed to their child’s classroom to get an overview from their child’s teacher about what is expected of them. Because of the length of the meeting, we request, if possible, that no students attend.
First Day of School, August 12
The first day of school for all PV Elementary students is Wednesday, August 12.
Back-To-School Picnic, August 17
Everyone is invited to our annual Back-to-School Picnic at Burns Park Monday, August 17 from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. Hotdogs, chips and drinks will be provided by our PFTA. This is a fun time to be able to welcome all our new and existing families.
