Dodge County Shooting Sports 2022
Greetings from Dodge County Shooting Sports! We are happy to announce that we will be going ahead with three disciplines this winter/spring; Archery, Air Rifle and ShotGun.
Thank you to our newest certified coaches who attended the discipline training in September in Marshfield, WI. Eva Lynch (Neosho Utopians), Jason Hensler (Lebanon Luckies), and Brandon Soldner (Astico Perseverance) are newly certified to teach Archery. This will help free up Jessie Lynch (Neosho Utopians), newly certified in Air Rifle, to run the Shot Gun and Air Rifle classes.
If you and your family are interested in participating in Dodge County Shooting Sports, please sign up as a project when you enroll in 4-H this fall. No equipment or experience is necessary, however you are required to be 8 years old and in 3rd grade to participate in Archery and Air Rifle. Youth interested in Shotgun need to be 12 years old and must hold their State of Wisconsin Hunter Safety Certification.
If you have any further questions, please email Jessie at jessie.lynch78@gmail.com We are planning on an orientation class for everyone participating in Archery, Air Rifle, and Shot Gun in early January that will be required before taking the line to shoot. Please watch your emails in late December for more information.
