Dear Candidate,

Since mid-March, NCARB has been committed to waiving rescheduling fees as we prepared for the online proctoring option and responded to challenges posed early on by the pandemic.

While NCARB will continue to cover Prometric’s rescheduling fees for candidates until the end of this year, starting January 1, 2021, NCARB will reinstate fees for rescheduling exam appointments. However, the fees will be charged at a reduced rate, as NCARB will continue absorbing its internal administrative cost for rescheduled appointments. It is anticipated that the reduced rates will remain in place for the foreseeable future.

If you want to adjust your existing appointment without incurring a rescheduling fee, please do so now.

Reschedule Appointment

Keep in mind, you will still be able to reschedule at no cost after December 31 if you reschedule more than 30 business days before your original appointment. If you reschedule 30 business days or less from your scheduled appointment time, you will be charged a rescheduling fee that has been reduced by more than 30 percent.

Rescheduling an Existing Appointment

To reschedule, navigate to your “Exams” tab in My NCARB and select “Reschedule” under the previously scheduled appointment you’d like to change. From there, you’ll select your delivery method and go through our step-by-step scheduling guide.
