COS Research and Facilities Annual Report 2019-2020 — Message from Enrique Del Barco
Dear COS Faculty, Research and Facilities Support Staff,
It is my pleasure to wish you all a great Holidays break.
As it has become customary, accompanying this email is the COS Research & Facilities Annual Report, where you can find details on how amazing we have performed during the Fiscal Year 2019-2020. Thanks to HURON (yes, it substantially improves what we had!) we can now present a sophisticated analysis of proposal submissions and grants secured out of actual data provided centrally. Last year, we could only do such analysis with data collected by us at COS from proposals submitted from the college. This means that the data across different slides would relate to each other and to the totals reported by OR for each unit.
I am sure that we could include more analysis that may be valuable to some of you. We have some additional analysis in mind for next year and it is for this reason that I ask you all to let me or my team know if you have any suggestions that would improve the report for future editions.
Again, I hope you all have the best end of the year and wish you a Happy New Year 2021, which MUST be better than 2020 for sure!
