Tiffany Love Goes to Washington  

This summer, SBCC student Tiffany Love will join 25 students from UCSB and several regional community colleges for two weeks of field research at the prestigious Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute (SCBI) in Front Royal, Virginia and Washington D.C.

Take a Trip in Time Back to 1959 with The Theatre Group's Production of "Grease"

Join cast and crew at the Garvin Theatre July 11- 28 for one of the best-loved musicals of all time, "Grease." Nominated for Best Musical in 1972, featuring songs and dancing that recall the days of Buddy Holly and Elvis Presley, this production directed by Katie Laris, choreographed by Christina McCarthy and under the musical direction of David Potter is sure to have you tapping your feet and humming along.
Single tickets go on sale June 18.

Fourth of July Celebration and the Best View in Town for the Fireworks Show!

The fun begins at 4:00 p.m. at the Great Meadow on West Campus and the Winslow Maxwell Overlook on East Campus. Food will be available from 4-8 p.m., with live music from 6-8 p.m. As part of our commitment to sustainability, we encourage everyone to walk, bike or rideshare. For those who drive, there will be a $10 parking fee, which will support SBCC Athletics. 

Fall Registration Begins July 6

Although summer is just beginning to get into full swing, it's also a good time to think about what classes you want to take in the fall. Registration for both credit classes and for the School of Extended Learning begins Friday, July 6.

SBCC Board of Trustees Meetings June 14 and June 28

The SBCC Board of Trustees will meet at 4 p.m. in CC-223 at SBCC on June 14 and in A-211 on June 28. The Agendas for Board Meetings can be found at least 72 hours prior to the meeting on the Board webpage.
