Dear students,
As I share a few more reminders from Orientation, I want to re-highlight Fr. Pollard's advice from the beginning of the year. Remember, three numbers to be striving to maintain in your daily routine:
-
THREE hours of study outside of class every day
- TWENTY minutes of prayer outside of Mass every day
- SIX hours of sleep at a minimum every night
If you already feel behind on these, you're not alone. My recommendation would be to make it a goal to work toward one at a time, and I'd recommend beginning with the last; outside of God's intervention, it's pretty hard to keep up the first two without sleep!

Here are some reminders from your "Beyond the Handbook 101" session with Mrs. Plasberg, the Director of Residence Life:
- Community & RA Support:
-
The RAs are your best resource! Don't hesitate to reach out to your RA or the RA on duty when a need arises in the halls.
- Interpersonal Conflict:
-
When you experience conflict with a fellow resident, address the conflict directly with the person you have the conflict with.
- If addressing it with the person is not working, please talk to your RA or one of the RDs.

Breaks:
- Fall & Spring Breaks
- The campus is CLOSED.
-
Students must be off-campus by noon on the Saturday of the start of break & may return after 9:00 am on Sunday of the last day of break.
- Thanksgiving & Easter Breaks
-
Students may register to stay on campus for a small fee.
- No meals are provided.
- No overnight visitors are allowed.

Christendom will be offering four mission trip opportunities this year:
- Over Christmas break, there will be an all-men's trip to Mexico with the Fraternity of St. Peter.
- Over Spring break, there will be foreign mission trips to Honduras and to Banica, Dominican Republic.
- Over Spring break, there will be a domestic mission trip to a suburb of Chicago, IL.
Stay tuned for more information on these trips, and please prayerfully consider joining one!
