Exodus 33:14-15
The Lord replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” Then Moses said to him, “If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here."
New International Version (NIV)
“Vaya con Dios” is Spanish for “Go with God.”  After the people of Israel sinned by making a golden calf, Moses prayed that God would let them live.  Moses loved the people so much that he was willing to be blotted out of God’s book in their place.

God promised to go with Moses.  Moses said, “If you don’t go with us, don’t let us go anywhere.”  Do we seek God’s leadership in this way?  Without question God goes with his people everywhere we go.  The real question is:  will we go with God?

How differently would we live our lives if we were constantly aware of the presence of God?  God is with us to lead us and guide us in his path.  Don’t leave home without him.  Vaya con Dios!

Pray with me:
Father, we thank you for the promise of your presence with us to the end of the age.  Teach us how to practice your presence.  We want to live our whole lives with you, starting now.  In Jesus’ name.  Amen.
This year we focus our Every Day with Jesus readings on Jesus’ story.  With references to Tallowood's Read Through the Bible in 2018 daily reading plan, let's focus our undivided attention on Jesus and follow where he lead. He will not fail. Neither will we!

Joyfully,
