We shared beyond Michigan with data on PCI and same-day discharge presented during the American College of Cardiology’s 73rd Annual Scientific Session & Expo in Atlanta earlier this month. We also co-signed a letter of support for legislation that aims to improve access to cardiac rehab for patients across the nation.
We are grateful for your engagement in the network BMC2 fosters. THANK YOU for your commitment to improving quality of care and outcomes for patients not only in Michigan but nationally and globally.

A Peek Inside the BMC2 Coordinating Center
The BMC2 Coordinating Center team worked on skills to improve workflow management during a half-day of professional development on Thursday, April 11th. The event included an opportunity to bring existing and anticipated projects to a small group breakout time where we focused on a workflow mapping activity. We are excited to implement the techniques we learned to elevate the resources and support we offer you as members of the consortium.

Support for BMC2 is provided by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Michigan and Blue Care Network as part of the BCBSM Value Partnerships program.
Although Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and BMC2 work collaboratively, the opinions, beliefs, and viewpoints expressed by the author do not necessarily reflect the opinions, beliefs, and viewpoints of BCBSM or any of its employees.
Further, BCBSM does not have access to BMC2 data, and all patient episodes occurring at engaged hospitals are included in the data registries, regardless of payer.
