that you have an amazing Winter-break with some solid R&R. During the break the VRC virtual front desks will be open every day during our business hours on Discord and Zoom. While we aim to be in-person as much as possible, be aware that our schedule will be somewhat varied with the holidays. Please check our events calendar for the VRC hours and our full Winter-break schedule!

New Pilot Virtual Front Desk |
We're piloting a new way of getting in touch with the VRC when being in-person isn't possible! Our Zoom front desk will allow you to be virtually connected to the VRC staff. Feel free to drop in during the break (see events calendar for hours of operation), but please be patient as we iron out the kinks. Do not hesitate to reach out via our other channels listed on our contact page.

We have two wonderful folks leaving the center this term. Richard, our office coordinator, who has been incredible resource in supporting Veterans/students and organizing the VRC. And Sean, one of our work-study team leads, whose positive energy always brightened up the VRC. We wish them all the best and a hearty farewell as they move on to new and exciting opportunities!

Vet Cert will be remote starting December 18th until December 28th! During that time you can reach them by email at vetcert@pdx.edu from 9 - 5 PM. Until the 18th, you can find them next to the registrars booth in FMH as usual.
Veterans Success on Campus (VSOC)
Our VSOC rep, Alexandra Birmingham will be unavailable from December 18th to the 29th.

Tis the Season, but not always... |
The holiday season can be a mentally and emotionally challenging period of time. If you or someone you know are in crisis, please do not hesitate to reach out for support or call 988 (then press 1) for the Veteran Crisis Hotline. This is a 24/7, confidential crisis support line for Veterans and their loved ones. You don't have to be enrolled in VA benefits or health care to connect and receive support.
