Hi Neighbor!
Â
For years I kept a running list on my phone of all the books I wanted to read. I cleverly titled it “BOOKS!”. Over time the list became a bit unruly, as running lists often do, and whenever someone asked for a book suggestion, I had no record of what I’d actually read—just a list of books that piqued my interest. It was not the best system for a bibliophile. A friend suggested I try Goodreads but who needs another app to check? Well apparently I do because I finally downloaded the app last week after listening to a podcast interview with the founders. I follow no one, but the app’s “shelf” feature is golden. I feel so organized! In honor of this belated life accomplishment, here are some recent book recs from yours truly... READ MORE

The Spring Market Has Sprung!
Â
Thinking of buying or selling a home?
Â
Here are my top tips for navigating this challenging market:
Â
• Be patient and stay positive. It’s a seller’s market, which I predict will continue through the summer. However, there are homes to be had! If you stay persistent and focus on your goals, you’ll find the right home for you.
Â
• Experience is everything. Most sellers receive multiple offers these days, especially along the Main Line. An experienced agent who knows the area well can help you craft an offer that stands out.Â
Â
• The right time is right now. For sellers, there’s no time like the present to list your home. You’ll make the most money and receive the best terms.
Â
• Set the stage. Even in a seller’s market, it’s still important to stage your home to sell. Fresh paint, decluttering and sprucing up living spaces will ensure your home shows well and attracts favorable offers.

Husky Puppies - Great Dogs that Come Into RescuesÂ
Â
There is a huge misconception that the only dogs in shelter and rescue programs are those that have behavior or medical problems. Â
The truth is that most rescues see a wide variety of dogs pass through their doors on a regular basis. Â Dogs come from various backgrounds, which may include: pull from another shelter, transport from another state or owner surrender. Â
This litter of Husky puppies arrives at Chester County's Angel’s Retreat from West Virginia.  They were dumped in a rural shelter where chances of adoption were slim. They are beautiful, fun and energetic puppies looking for their families like so many other rescue or shelter pets.
The next time you are looking for a pet to love, check out your local shelters and rescues. Â They may surprise you!
