Clemson University Public Safety hosted a full-scale active threat training exercise on Monday at Tillman Hall and the surrounding area. The event was strategically held during students’ Fall Break to minimize disruption of campus activities and was the culmination of months of planning between more than two dozen Clemson and area public safety, healthcare and emergency management partners.

Health Extension for Diabetes is helping Tennessee, North Carolina, Alabama and Georgia initiate its unique diabetes education and support program to allow more people access to this important resource.

The celebration will occur in the Carillon Garden next to Bowman Field from 6-9 p.m. and will have food trucks, live music, an outdoor screening of the movie "Coco" and more. Admission is free and open to faculty, staff, students and the general public.

Clemson invites all faculty and staff members who have received degrees from the University or other higher education institutions while working full-time in 2023 to attend the event. To be included on the invitation list, eligible employees must complete the Declaration of Degree Completion Form by 11:59 P.M. on November 1.

Parking and Transportation Services has relocated its offices from the University Union to 310 Klugh Avenue behind Cribb and DesChamps Hall. Visitors should look for purple “Welcome” flags next to the smoke stacks and enter under the green awning.

On Thursday, October 26, 2023, CCIT will encrypt all University-owned Mac computers using FileVault Encryption. Easy instructions for self-encryption are available on the CCIT website. According to Clemson University encryption guidelines, all University-owned computers must be encrypted and the computer's FileVault Encryption key managed by CCIT.
