Tisch Center's Event Management Students attend Cvent Connect in Las Vegas
Cvent and HI Hub Lab collaborate to shape the future of event professionals through certifications, access to technology tools, and experiential field trips.
Cvent, an industry-leading meetings, events, and hospitality technology provider, hosted six student ambassadors from the MS in event management program at their annual Cvent Connect conference, July 24-27 in Las Vegas. Cvent Connect gathers meeting and event planners, production professionals, experience designers, business partners and users of Cvent platform to learn about technology innovations and exchange industry best practices. Students, accompanied by Dr. Donna Kelly, participated alongside Cvent team members in event operations using Cvent's technology solutions, attended the conference program, and networked with event management and hospitality professionals.

NYU Tisch Center's Students and Hoteza Collaborate to Enhance Guest JourneyNYU School of Professional Studies Jonathan M. Tisch Center of Hospitality students provide research insights that lead to improvements to Hoteza’s guest-facing applications.
Given the ongoing collaboration between the NYU SPS Tisch Center’s HI Hub Experiential Learning Lab and Hoteza, Hoteza invited Tisch Center's graduate students to evaluate Hoteza’s products, provide their opinions and suggestions for improvements. Students led research of the two selected solutions under the guidance of professor John Moser. With the support of Hoteza product managers they collected information about Hoteza Guest App and Check-In solutions, going through the user experience from a point of view a guest would have while using the solution during their travels.

As part of its ongoing partnerships strategy, Amadeus announced it is working with Microsoft and Accenture to develop new AI-powered integrations between its travel and expense platform Cytric Easy and Microsoft 365.
Accenture and Avanade are joining forces with Amadeus to create a new travel assistant. This assistant, integrated with Amadeus' Cytric Easy platform, will help travelers combine their preferences and follow their employers’ policies for a more efficient and cost-effective experience. The travel assistant utilizes advanced AI technology, powered by Microsoft's tools including GPT models, Microsoft 365, and Teams, to assist corporate travelers with elements of their journey.
