Practice Management Updates

Discharge Summary CPT Charge Update

When creating a discharge summary, in the service code popover, the service code 90889 now populates with the updated price of $32.38 to be in compliance.

Note: The group rule "Maryland Service Codes in D/S" must be enabled for the code to appear in the service code popover when creating a discharge summary. Customers can request to have this rule enabled by contacting the Support team.

Last Claim Resubmission Date

The "Last Claim Resubmission Date" export option has been added to the Billing/Productivity Report export. This helps identify claims that have been billed more than once. This will help streamline claim management and improve workflow efficiency.

Nexio Payment Request by Text Message

Nexio payment requests sent via text message will now include the patient’s first name. This especially helpful for group with families with multiple members by making it easier to identify which individual the payment request is for.

Navigation Change for Clinician Display on Calendar

We have streamlined the calendar navigation by removing the blue directional arrows, with users now navigating between clinician sets using the black arrows at each end of the clinician names row. This change will primarily impact a select subset of users, as only groups with “New Calendar Load Visible Columns Only” enabled as a group rule would have previously seen and used the blue directional arrows, meaning the majority of users will experience no change to their current navigation workflow.

Custom Fields

New fields have been added to the custom fields, bringing the total to 10. These fields can be accessed from the Demographics area on the Chart Face and in the Settings & Directories section. They are also exportable through the Clinical/Demographics report.

Enhanced Personality Disorder Manifestations in the General Treatment Plan

The General Treatment Plan has been expanded to include six additional manifestations under the Personality Disorder problem/need category. These new clinical classifications are:

Avoidant Personality Disorder
Histrionic Personality Disorder
Paranoid Personality Disorder
Passive Aggressive Personality Disorder
Schizoid Personality Disorder
Schizotypal Personality Disorder

Enhanced manifestation options for personality disorders now include long-term goals, short-term goals, and interventions for each manifestation, facilitating the development of more comprehensive treatment plans.

Expanded Mental Status Exam Content in Group Therapy Notes

We’ve enhanced our Group Therapy Notes by updating the Mental Status Exam (MSE) section with new shrub-related content. These updates apply to both the Classic and Utterly Familiar formats, ensuring our clinical documentation remains comprehensive and current.

New Forms Available in Forms/Assessments

We are pleased to announce the addition of the following assessment forms to our Forms/Assessments list:
