Howdy, friends. Wow, thank you so much for all the kind words, notes, ideas, leads, and pre-orders when I shared the
bummer news last week about having to
press pause on the brand-new mymilly box and shop. TL;DR: my new statewide delivery partner unfortunately had to suspend operations and can no longer deliver the badass and cutting-edge products I curated for the mymilly box. So, now I have some inventory that I need to move so I can get these brands paid, and y’all are really helping me out with these pre-orders for my pop-up!
What pop-up, you ask? I’m going to be at
The Perish Trust (at 728 Divisadero St. at Grove in San Francisco) next
Thursday February 13th from 6pm–8pm-ish at their art show that evening (featuring sculpture by
Peter St. Lawrence and watercolors by
Grant Stiles), plus they carry a bunch of so many cool items for your home, kitchen, bar, and body! And there will be refreshments. I’ll also have some (non-medicated) Pantry chocolates for you to taste, cause you’re my boo. And hugs, because we never get enough of them.
My delivery company (Big Moon Sky) will be there and can compliantly fulfill orders in person—say bye to the $15 delivery fee! Just bring your 21-and-over i.d. and cash money (no credit/debit/Venmo can be accepted). But
please check my Instagram at @mymilligram before heading over in case of any last-minute changes and announcements. Cannabis has taught me everything can change in a second (ugh). SO squirrely!
Since it’s onÂ
Galentine’s Day (and the day before Valentine’s Day), I’ll be selling the fabulous
Pantry gianduja ganache bonbons for buy one ($35), get one at 50 percent off ($17.50)! We’ll also have a limited supply of
Artet cannabis-infused aperitif (I wish everyone had this in their home; $55!),
Lightly Lifted 1:1 citrusy microdose drops ($30), the new
Level gum (
THC—$18,
CBD—$18, and
THCV—$40!) and
CBN Tablinguals ($24),
Kiskanu face oil ($15), and my favorite pain-killing
Apothecanna extra-strength body spray ($48). Taxes will be added to those prices, but yay, no delivery fee! I’m also trying to see how we can do any other discounts. And, I will have a mymilly enamel pin (smooch!) and a mymilly backpack for anyone who makes a purchase. THANK YOU, MWAH!
If you want me to make sure we put something aside for you to pick up that night, email me (or you can just hit reply to this newsletter) and I can help make sure you get whatever it is your heart desires since some items are limited in stock.
And if you can’t make it that night, email me anyway and we can figure it out!
To be clear, my relationship with
Sava for local/Bay Area delivery remains untouched, and you’ll continue to be able to order many of my favorite products through my special link:
getsava.com/mymilligram. For example,
today's newsletter features a review of Kiskanu cannabis face oil, which was in the December mymilly box (I just have five left that I need to sell at next Thursday’s pop-up, btw!), and you can (re-)
order it on Sava (they also carry the larger size, plus the rest of Kiskanu’s beautiful product line!).Â
Speaking of Sava, they're doing an
awesome sale on Camino gummies by Kiva right now (save 20 percent with code camino20, while supplies last).
Thanks, everyone, for being so supportive, it really helps ease my disappointment over this unfortunate setback. In the meantime, I’m busy over here concepting some
upcoming events, because the show must go on. Let me know if you want to be involved, because sponsorship makes things happen faster.Â
And if you happen to love
Champagne (Henriot, baby!) and
Vietnamese food (featuring a spread from chef Rob Lam, who did the bangin’ food at High Ho Silver), I’m hosting an over-the-top (but non-infused, to be clear!)
dinner to celebrate the 14th birthday of tablehopper (my restaurant column) on Friday February 28th in SF; subscribe to tablehopper to receive all the details on Tuesday!
I’m also looking forward to the
second annual 215 event happening at
EVB in Oakland nextÂ
Saturday February 15th, to honor and celebrate the spirit ofÂ
Prop. 215 (the Compassionate Use Act of 1996), and help raise funds for
Sweetleaf Collective, the Bay Area compassion program serving low-income, AIDS/HIV, and cancer patients since 1996. Last year, Sweetleaf Collective hosted the first 215 event to raise awareness and funds to get SB 34 (the compassion bill) supported and passed through CA legislation. In early October, Governor Newsom signed SB 34 into law, protecting cannabis compassion programs, thank goddess.
But our support is still needed! (Follow
@sweetleafbayarea to keep up on everything they’re doing!) This will be final hurrah party at EVB, so come out for one last canna-bash there with some great folks and brands. Thanks to Doc Green’s and NorthStar Financial Consulting Group for putting this on! All
ticket proceeds go to Sweetleaf.
Okay, lovebugs, that’s it from me this week. Thanks for reading. After this week’s news, it’s time for some self-care. I say try a
Tet & Tonic, take a bath with Om Edibles
Epsom mineral soak, and put on some
Kiskanu face oil before bed. Enjoy a
Pantry gianduja chocolate bonbon (5mg), and then it’s nighty night! Serenity now!
BIG XO!
