Dear Friend ~ We hope you and your loved ones are healthy and safe. As many of us are at home due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are eager for interesting & engaging learning opportunities. Today from 3-4 pm, we invite you to enjoy a very special (live) online presentation hosted by Maryland State Senator Katie Fry Hester that will be focused on women in cryptology and cybersecurity.
Senator Hester wants to raise awareness about cybersecurity careers among students, especially young women. Today's online presentation via Zoom will include an interactive discussion with best-selling author
Ms. Liza Mundy
about her book, Code Girls: The Untold Story of the American Women Code Breakers of World War II.
The presentation will also include discussions with Major General Linda Singh and Ms. Laura Nelson, President & CEO of the National Cryptologic Museum Foundation, about their careers in the cyber field.
