PUBPOL Goes To Washington |
|
|
Professors Deondra Rose and Manoj Mohanan took students from PUBPOL 155 and 301, as well as members of the Polis Student Committee, to Washington DC. Students were able to visit the Capitol and the White House, as well as meet with Duke alumni.
|
|
|
From engaging alumni mixers to thought-provoking White House panels, enlightening Capitol building tours, and dynamic debates, students were immersed in an unforgettable experience. Not only did they have the opportunity to forge meaningful connections with accomplished alumni working in Washington, DC and on the Hill, but they also gained valuable insights they will cherish for years to come.

This course is designed for motivated, early-to mid-career professionals who are interested in building their knowledge of climate and sustainability. Through interaction with trusted faculty, researchers, and leaders in climate science and policy solutions, participants will develop a robust professional toolkit and build a deeper understanding of climate and sustainability issues across industries and issue areas. The program is led by world-renowned Duke faculty and offers interactive learning modules on a selection of climate and sustainability topics.
