St M Celebration of the Arts

Join us on Thursday, May 16, 5:30-7:30 p.m., for the St M Arts Festival!
It will be an exciting evening of Lower School and Middle School art, music, and student creativity!
It will also be an opportunity to bid farewell to Mr. Turner and to welcome our Head Elect, Bob Gregg, and his wife, Kathy.
  • 5:30-6:30 p.m. - Visual Art Opening (K-8) and Reception on The Green
  • 6:30-7:30 p.m. - Performing Arts and Presentations (Great Hall)
Every K-8 student will have a piece of art displayed. Musical performances by our fifth grade choir, Middle School Open Mike, and more! The evening will also celebrate departing faculty/staff and finish with a short SMPA end-of-year meeting.

Birthday Books

May 16 is the last day to arrange for a Birthday Book to be presented to our libraries on behalf of your child. Please contact Mrs. Wise (Lower School) or Mrs. Carpenter (Middle School) if you wish to participate.

Please Return Library Books

With the end of school in sight, this is a reminder that we need families to help their children look for library books that need to be returned. Families are welcome to contact Mrs. Wise or Mrs. Carpenter by email if they want to know whether or not their child has any books outstanding.

Return Middle School Sports Uniforms

To all those who participated in St M spring sports, please wash and return clean uniforms ASAP to Mr. Kern and Mrs. Martin. Thank you!

Lost and Found To Be Donated Soon

Missing anything? Last call to claim items from Lost and Found before they are donated. Please have your child(ren) come to take a look to see if any items are theirs. Thanks!

Summer Camp Spotlight: Model United Nations Camp

St M's popular Model UN club has the highest participation of all clubs at the School. This camp, led by Sam Futrell, Middle School history teacher, is perfect for students who are interested in Model UN or have participated in Model UN and want to take it up a notch. In this MUN simulation, delegates will be assigned to represent prominent real-world figures (political and celebrity) from NATO aligned states in the year 2022. The assassination of a prominent global couple has lead to the declaration of war among multiple powerful countries-- creating a global conflict between the NATives states and the newly formed Pangea forces. Our delegates will use the crisis MUN format to try and prevent global destruction with the help of a live crisis team, news updates, and RPG gameplay elements! Join us!
