Good morning! The National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship Program recognized 16 students and alumni. Senior Week activities continue through Friday; Applications for the Clemson University School of Health Research (CUSHR) Faculty Fellows program are open.

What to know today:

Sixteen Clemson scholars, including seven current students (pictured), were recognized by the National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship Program, a highly competitive award that supports outstanding graduate students in science, technology, engineering and mathematics fields.

With final exams next week, the countdown to graduation is on. Senior Week activities are happening through Friday. Check out the Alumni Association website for more information.

NEWS AND UPDATES

The College of Science recently recognized top undergraduate and graduate students for their research, teaching, service and outreach during its annual awards ceremony on April 9.

Alan Mason '75 and his wife, Priscilla, have established an endowed professorship in the Department of Communication to support faculty excellence while creating new opportunities for students to explore careers in media, communication and beyond.

Clemson '93 graduates Ward and Kelly Axford Carson recently presented ClemsonLIFE graduates with an exclusive gift: custom-made blazers from their company, Pearce Bespoke Charlotte-Carolinas. The dark purple jackets boast subtle Clemson Orange finishes on the pocket flaps, cuffs, and lapels, with Tiger Paw linings, the ClemsonLIFE logo and their names embroidered on the inside.

Clemson faculty can conduct medical research while embedded at Prisma Health through the Clemson University School of Health Research (CUSHR) Faculty Fellows program. Faculty involved in the program are released from teaching to pursue scholarship for a semester. Apply by July 1.

Worried your social skills may have declined? Or just interested in tools for having good conversations? ComPsych is holding a workshop on Thursday from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on handling awkward social interactions. Participants must register to attend.
