Your Cathedral Legacy

For years after he graduated, Joe Karibo, Class of 1940, made continuous annual gifts supporting Cathedral High School. Unfortunately, Joe passed away in February 2020; however, his legacy lives on at Cathedral through an estate gift. We were blessed to have Joe as a graduate and annual donor, and we are grateful for his estate commitment to the future of Cathedral High School.

Circle of Excellence

Over the past 100 plus years, Cathedral has been blessed by the students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents, and friends who have served and continue to serve her. While many of these faithful servants have been honored by awards, such as the Bishop Chartrand award, the Cathedral Circle of Excellence serves as a "hall of fame" for the Cathedral family.
The Cathedral Circle of Excellence honors those who have perpetuated the good name of Cathedral High School by exhibiting Holy Cross values in making significant, substantial, and long-standing contributions to Cathedral or to their city, state, country, or global community.
There are four categories for nominees:
Alumni - Accomplishments made as a StudentAlumni who had an illustrious career in academics, athletics or extracurricular activities during their time at Cathedral High School.
Alumni - Accomplishments made post-graduation Alumni who have made a difference through distinguished professional, personal, or community contributions after graduation.
Faculty, Staff, Administrator, Coach - A faculty, staff, administrator, or coach who has served his/her students in exemplary fashion.
Community Contributor - A community contributor who has profoundly impacted the lives of students at Cathedral High School.

Hard Hats & High Heels

Cathedral has weathered the unique circumstances of our current school year with an Irish twist, and we feel compelled to do so once again with ShamrAuction as scheduled next month. The safety and wellbeing of our Irish community is our number one priority and after months of weighing options and soliciting advice from patrons we've chosen to take the 44th annual event, ShamrAuction: Hard Hats & High Heels...VIRTUAL

By utilizing an online platform we hope to engage even more members of our community as we'll invite EVERYONE to participate online on Saturday, February 27, 2021. If you've never been to ShamrAuction, this would be the year to tune in to see what it's all about. And if you are a loyal attendee then I know you'll be online to bid on all the amazing silent and live auction items we'll have available!

While "tickets" won't be sold to attend, we would encourage you to review our revised sponsorship options (swag included) as well as underwriting opportunities. ShamrAuction is an essential part of Cathedral's operating revenue with funds raised going to support our need-based tuition assistance program which impacts over 35% of our students and we are confident our community will ensure this event is a success!
