Good morning! Clemson has completed an important milestone of its Workday enterprise resource planning (ERP) system implementation; a Pulitzer Prize winner visits campus, Spring Break employee perks and discounts are available and more.

What to know today:

Clemson has completed the Plan Stage of its Workday@Clemson implementation program, an important milestone in modernizing and streamlining the University's HR and finance processes.
The Plan Stage focused primarily on developing a new blueprint encompassing what the University commonly refers to as its chart of accounts, creating the foundation for Workday@Clemson reporting, security and business processes.

NEWS AND UPDATES

Pulitzer Prize winner Ilyon Woo is coming to Clemson to discuss her award-winning book, Master Slave Husband Wife: An Epic Journey from Slavery to Freedom. Woo's talk is a part of the Pathways Initiative speaker series and will be held on Wednesday, March 26, at 5 p.m. in G66 Daniel Hall Extension.

To recognize Brain Awareness Week, held March 10-16, the College of Science highlights David Feliciano, Feng Ding and Tara Doucet-O’Hare, who are each conducting critical research on the brain and neurological disorders.

WHAT HAPPENED THIS WEEKEND

Over 500 people gathered in Military Heritage Plaza and participated in the 2025 Clemson 8 Challenge, an eight-mile run/walk/ruck march, on Saturday. Freshman finance major GB Stalnaker (top photo) served as master of ceremonies.

The Call My Name 5K took place Sunday, as participants (bottom photo) ran and walked a route guiding them past sites of significance for Black history at Clemson to support the ongoing research of "Call My Name."
