Remembering The Hon. Joseph B. Gildenhorn, z"l
With profound sadness, we mourn the October 21st passing of the Hon. Joseph B. Gildenhorn, z"l, our friend, community leader, trustee emeritus of Federation's Jewish Community Foundation, and past president of The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington. Ambassador Gildenhorn had a truly outsized impact on our community and Federation. As a renowned businessman and diplomat, he leaves an indelible legacy of leadership, development, philanthropy, and service. We will miss him dearly. May Ambassador Gildenhorn’s family, friends, loved ones, and admirers be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem, and may his memory be for a blessing.
