Rick Barth has announced he will leave the University for another opportunity after four years as Director of Undergraduate Admissions. Since joining the University, Barth has helped Clemson expand access for South Carolina students, strengthen enrollment pathways and reshape the prospective student experience.

Assistant professor Lan Zhang is helping drones, robots, vehicles and sensors work together in teams as part of a CAREER Award from the National Science Foundation. The work sharpens the focus on “swarm AI,” which could lead to critical safety applications in disaster recovery, crop monitoring and autonomous vehicles.

Roofing industry leader Dennis Conway has established the first private endowment dedicated to the University's Center for Roofing Innovation and Leadership, powered by the Roofing Alliance. The endowment will strengthen student learning and create new opportunities for experiential education.

Since arriving on main campus last week, new students have been busy with various events during Clemson's "Weeks of Welcome" programming slate, including Fall Convocation, the Welcome Back Festival, Tiger Prowl, Bid Day and more.
