Happenings on the Hill & Alumni News

  • Congratulations to Coach Sean McGinley '88 and the Cathedral wrestling team on their 3rd straight State Championship! Zeke Seltzer '22 and Holden Parsons '20 also walked away as individual state championships.
  • The STEAM and Admissions Departments hosted their first ever STEM Conference for middle school students. 
  • Freshman Boys Basketball Team are the 2020 City Champions.
There is still room for alumni to join us on March 21, 2020, for the 8th Annual Cathedral Trivia Night Presented by Old National Bank. This is one event you don't want to miss! Grab friends and family and show off your smarts with fellow friends of Cathedral.

Teams are encouraged to bring appetizers, etc. to share with their table. Beer and wine will be provided. The event will also feature a silent auction, 50/50 raffle (License #150269) and competition for best themed table (previous winners have been Winter Olympics, Wizard of Oz, Monopoly, etc.)!

**Please note, all attendees must be 21+ and this year's event will be held ON CAMPUS at CATHEDRAL!**

Cathedral’s Student Services Office invites alumni business owners to participate in our first annual Student Job Fair on Thursday, March 26th from 10am - 1pm at Cathedral High School. The purpose of this event is to help our talented, dependable Cathedral students secure employment this spring, summer, or fall.

Circle of Excellence - Nominations Needed

The purpose of the Cathedral Circle of Excellence is to honor those who have perpetuated the good name of Cathedral High School by exhibiting Holy Cross values in making significant, substantial, and long-standing contributions to Cathedral or their city, state, country, or global community.
There are four categories for nominees:

Alumni (accomplishments made as student) - Alumni who had an illustrious career in academics, athletics, or extracurricular activities during their time at Cathedral High School.
Alumni (accomplishments made post graduation) - Alumni who have made a difference through distinguished professional, personal, or community contributions after graduation. 
Faculty, Staff, Administrator, Coach - A faculty, staff, administrator, or coach who has served his/her students in exemplary fashion.
Community Contributor - A community contributor who has profoundly impacted the lives of students at Cathedral High School.

Father Kelly Tradition Golf Outing

All alumni and friends of Cathedral are invited to join us for the annual Father Kelly Tradition Golf Outing. Our beloved principal for 18 years, Father Kelly was an avid golfer and a true student and gentleman of the game.
The Father Kelly Tradition Outing draws teams together in a special one day event that includes an 18 hole Florida Scramble, cart, range, food, libations, commemorative gift, and of course - fun.

Make Summer Plans with Camp Cathedral
Camp Cathedral is dedicated to providing every camper with a safe environment where he/she can learn, discover, and have lots of fun! We will be offering more than 50 enrichment camps including theatre, music, art, language, math, technology, discovery and community service. Our ever-popular sports camps offer the opportunity to be coached by 10 state championship winning coaches! No matter what your sport, you can find it at Camp Cathedral: baseball, basketball, bowling, cheerleading, football, golf, lacrosse, soccer, softball, tennis, track, volleyball and wrestling!

The camp schedule is designed to meet the summer needs of most families as we offer a large selection for seven (7) weeks of the summer. Before and after camp care is available! Choose one camp or 14 camps, you decide, but no matter what you choose, we promise that your child will learn, discover, have fun and make friends.
