End of Year Happy Hour at 1WTC

On December 11th, EONY hosted members, spousal forum members, and visiting members at the top of One World Trade Center in the Observatory lounge and restaurant for a year-end happy hour. This was a special place and view for all to enjoy cocktails and canapés. Survey results showed all agreed the most special part, though, was the mingling with other members and a chance to catch up. The only negative was that more substantial food was expected.

Attendees were treated to "velvet rope" access to enter the space via the observatory floor above, and see the 360 degree view of the city and surrounding boroughs. The 47 second elevator ride to the top showing the 515 year history of the development of Manhattan was spectacular. For those not able to come, see it here. The sky cleared from afternoon showers to showcase the city and Statue of Liberty in twinkling lights. Special thanks to Taylor Trusty for chairing.
