Hope that all of you had a great summer and you spent a good quality of time with your loved ones.  

I simply want to express an enthusiastic welcome as we begin our  Fall 2023 semester here at NYU term together. Together, I am sure we will all have an amazing semester filled with accomplishment and community engagement all semester.

I am excited about our very first 6 months of cohort applications with a $20,000 USD cash award and remind you that the deadline is October 8th to apply. You can see more details in the first article below.

The HI Hub Incubator Program will now run as a 6-month program that offers mentorship, industry connections, advisory services, and more to early-stage startups.  The program includes individual mentorship, boot camps, networking events, and master classes, and culminates with a pitch competition where the winning team will receive a $20,000 cash prize. 

HI Hub Incubator’s mission is to provide all NYU-affiliated startup businesses and young entrepreneurs with four core services; plan your business, launch your business, manage your business, and grow your business.
 
NYU-affiliated startup founders (current students and alumni) with an active MVP in the travel, tourism, hospitality, and technology industry can apply to join our incubator program for free.

John Hope Bryant, CEO of nonprofit Operation HOPE teams up with Shopify to provide free business licenses, domain names, payment/delivery systems, and business consulting to aspiring black business owners across the country. HOPE seeks to offer all of the necessary tools for financial literacy and startup success that are scarce in our world today and is confident they are ahead of schedule already for accomplishing this goal of one million new businesses created. 

The website accessibility assessment tool company, Audioeye, released their Digital Accessibility Index, a study into many of the world's top travel websites' points of weakness in accessibility accommodations. Common problems such as missing detailed descriptions of hotel rooms for the visually impaired show a large problem in the industry for accommodating the world's 1.3 billion disabled people.
