Join the Anthropology Department for hands-on activities; hear from nationally known cybersecurity experts; watch a comic opera with a Top Gun twist; and more
Members of the brass section of a marching band, wearing red and gray uniforms and hats with white plumes, play outdoors in front of a chain link fence. Members that are visible are playing large trumpet-style instruments and tubas.
More than 600 alumni are set to return to campus November 4–6 to celebrate a century of music making by the IUP Marching Band. Highlights include the alumni band’s halftime performance at the football game against Clarion and the debut of a documentary, Sustaining Grace, about the band’s journey with the song “Amazing Grace.” Learn more about this event.

Celebrate International Archaeology Day at the Department of Anthropology’s annual open house, Saturday from noon to 3:00 p.m. in McElhaney Hall and on the East Lawn. Tour the labs, bring your own artifacts for examination, watch stone-tool-making demonstrations, and enjoy prehistoric hand painting, wampum beading, and more.
