Hello Vanguard Families,
We hope this email finds you well. As we are getting ready to welcome back staff and students, we want to provide you with a few important dates as well as some updates.
“Sneak Peek” is on September 3rd from 11:00 am-12:00 pm. This is the time for you and your child to come to campus and take a tour, visit their new classroom, and meet their new teacher. We encourage families to take advantage of this opportunity as it can help transition your child back to the school setting. * Masks will be required by all students and families while indoors regardless of vaccination status*
September 8 is the first day of school for all students. The school day starts at 8:30 am and ends at 3:00 pm. Instruction will be IN-PERSON! Your school district sets up transportation and should contact you with bus pick-up and drop-off times.
Over the next few weeks, you will receive additional correspondence from the directors as well as your child’s program supervisor. You will be informed of the necessary school supplies, classroom teachers and program information.
While we have come a long way, we are not completely out of the woods with COVID-19. Our priority is the health and safety of all staff and students and to remain open and in-person for instruction. In an effort to ensure this we continue to update our Health & Safety Plan and our Family Handbook to align with CDC guidelines. You will receive additional information on these updates in advance of the first day of school.
