Tennessee Baptists contributing through the Golden Offering for Tennessee Missions provide invaluable financial support for Tennessee ministries. The Week of Prayer for State Missions is a concentrated time of prayer for Tennessee Baptists, which coincides with the offering. The Golden Offering is collected all year with a special emphasis during the Week of Prayer.

The 2021-22 Golden Offering begins on September 1st.

The Week of Prayer for State Missions suggested dates are September 12-19.

Visit the newly redesigned website at www.GoldenOffering.org for available resources, information, and more.

“Our lives can change in an instant. As Christians, we have a constant unchanging hope - Jesus the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Supporting the Golden Offering gives our fellow Tennesseans who are spiritually lost a chance to have the same hope we have. Please join me in promoting and giving to GOTM and praying for state missions so all Tennesseans can experience hope in Jesus Christ.”
Yolanda Heuser, Tennessee WMU President

Our children's missions event, JAM, is here in an event box that contains plans for a "Jammin' in a Box" event. All of the JAM components you're used to finding at the in-person event are a detailed part of the Leader's Guide Notebook. The JAM event box provides plans, ideas, tips, instructions, and fun items to help you have a successful JAM at your church on your chosen date(s) and in a time frame that is easily adaptable to what works best for you.

Churches will need to make limited copies and purchase some supplies per child. Boxes are available for $30 and will be shipped in late August.  For more information, visit tnwmu.org or contact Jacki Holleman at jholleman@tnbaptist.org.

Share a gift of love and the gospel with a child in need.

In Tennessee, 19.3% of children live in poverty. For some of these children, a backpack from Tennessee Baptists may be all they receive for Christmas. Each backpack is child-focused, Christ entered and church connected. Every effort is made to connect the child and their family with a local church. Each Christmas backpack provides an opportunity to share the gospel with a child.
How can you be involved?

Pray – Start praying today for the boys and girls who will receive Christmas backpacks.
Participate – You, your family, your church and your organization can become involved by preparing Christmas backpacks for children and teens.
Partner – You can partner with a church or compassion ministry that is distributing Christmas backpacks.
For more information, click here.
