Welcome Back!

SACNAS Chapter

UIC now has a SACNAS Chapter for undergraduate students!
What is SACNAS? Well it is the Society for the Advancement for Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS). It is an inclusive organization dedicated to fostering the success of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans, from college students to professionals, in attaining advanced degrees, careers, and positions of leadership in STEM.
The undergraduate chapter will kick off the new year with its first general meeting on Monday, September 10th at 5 pm in the Latino Cultural Center (Lecture Center B1). They will be discussing future events including regional meetings and long-term planning for the 2019 national conference.
