Penn Information Systems & Computing

Dear Apptio User:

Did you know you can organize your PennNet ports by building? Click on the Client Bill Detail tab, type “PennNet Ethernet” in the search box under the Name column, and the inventory of ports by building code will be listed in the Detail column.

These codes are also tagged on each port’s physical wall plate. For example, FBA-121-1 stands for Franklin Building Annex room 121, port number 1. If you want to look more closely at your port inventory and sort the data, right click on any column and export the report to Excel. See below for sample report.

If you have any questions about your PennNet ports or invoices, feel free to stop by our Office Hours on Thursday, April 26, between 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm.
Priorities Program
Apptio billing falls under a larger ISC initiative called the Priorities Program, comprised of three projects. The Billing, Finance, and Funding (BFF) project manages Apptio. You''ll be hearing more about the Priorities Program in the coming months.
