Years in the Making! The Arkells to play Norfolk CountyEnjoy a rare outdoor concert featuring 9-time JUNO Award winners, the Arkells as part of Burning Kiln’s Concerts in the Vineyard series. The CAMPFIRE NIGHTS outdoor show is Saturday, July 29. Tickets are available at burningkilnwinery.ca. The concert is the first of its kind for the Hamilton-based Arkells. Showcasing an intimate and stripped-down version of the band, the night will feature signature songs set against the backdrop of rural Ontario summer nights. This unique event, curated by the Arkells themselves, promises an unforgettable event!

Introduction to Experiential Tourism Breakfast!
Norfolk County - in collaboration with Haldimand County and Ontario Southwest (OSW) - will be hosting a FREE Introduction to Experiential Tourism Breakfast at the Jarvis Public Library from 8:30 – 10:30 a.m. If you are interested in learning how you can develop new experiences for visitors but don't know where to start, this event is the perfect introduction. Come and learn about the resources and development programs offered by both OSW and Norfolk County. Email tourism@norfolkcounty.ca for more.

Fairground Festival
An extension of the successful 2022 Norfolk Night Market featuring live local musical acts including Sloan, Bif Naked, Finger Eleven, the Beaches, 40-plus artisan vendors, food trucks, local beer, and wine gardens, interactive games, and this year adding two evenings of Party on the Track Concerts featuring large-scale Headline National Artists in an immersive festival setting, as part of Amplify Norfolk initiative. Community Improvement Plan (CIP) Program
Norfolk County Council has approved budget funding for 2023 for the municipal CIP Grant Program If you have a property that needs upgrade and improvement you may qualify for a CIP grant. The program is a 50/50 matching fund program that can be used for Façade improvement, accessibility upgrades, and more.

| Southwestern Ontario Development Fund (SWODF) The SWODF Fund provides support for projects and investments to businesses, municipalities, and not-for-profit organizations for economic development in southwestern Ontario The upcoming application window opens June 19 and runs until September 14. The fund supports Projects that:
- create jobs and build talent - attract and encourage private-sector investment - lead to business growth and broad positive economic impacts - encourage innovation, collaboration, and cluster development Additional information here.
New Ontario MadeManufacturing Investment Tax Credit An eligible Ontario corporation can claim capital investments in two capital cost allowance classes for qualifying expenditures up to a limit of$20 million in a taxation year. The tax credit for a taxation year is 10 percent of eligible expenditures for qualifying investments, up to a maximum of $2 million (i.e. 10 percent of the $20 million limit). The Canada Revenue Agency administers tax credits on behalf of Ontario and corporations can claim the tax credit on their T2 Corporation Income Tax return. Additional information is available here.
