| Jo Lamb Joins Georgia Tech as the New Deputy Chief Business Officer for A&F |
Jo Lamb, associate vice president of Planning, Design, and Construction at Kennesaw State University, has been appointed as Georgia Tech’s new vice president and deputy chief business officer for Administration and Finance (A&F).
Jo’s first day at Georgia Tech will be Sept. 22, and will report directly to Tricia Chastain, executive vice president for A&F.

Georgia Tech is undertaking a series of transformative projects, including the development of a premier athletics performance center, the installation and completion of a dedicated cycle track, the construction of a new residence hall, and the elevation of a state-of-the-art academic facility.

| Biannual Compliance Training Due Sept. 12 |
All faculty, staff, and students who are active employees as of Aug. 1 are required to complete the 2025 Fall Biannual Compliance Training by 11:59 p.m. EDT on Friday, Sept. 12. The training is now available and takes approximately 90 minutes to complete.

| 2026 USG Healthcare Plans and Premiums Announced |
On Tuesday, Aug. 12, the Board of Regents approved the 2026 University System of Georgia (USG) healthcare plans and premiums for active employees and pre-65 retirees. The board also approved the 2026 Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) contribution for retirees 65 and older.

With a record-setting $5.8 billion economic impact, Georgia Tech led all Georgia public institutions in fiscal year 2024, according to the latest data released by the University System of Georgia (USG).

| More Than 5,400 Undergraduates Join Georgia Tech |
Georgia Tech welcomed approximately 4,050 summer and fall first-year students alongside 1,365 spring, summer, and fall transfer students to campus this year. The incoming class of about 5,415 brings Tech’s total undergraduate population over 20,000.

Nearly 800 attendees helped kick off the start of the academic year by attending the inaugural A&F Connects to learn more about Georgia Tech’s FY26 budget, federal funding sensitivities, and the University System of Georgia’s Merit Pay Program.
