This competitive program features intensive weekend seminars on the adaptive leadership framework, which provides a set of strategies and tools to help practiioners bring about needed change within organizations and communities. Black and Pink Holiday Letter Writing
Join the NYC Anti-Violence Project in collaboration with Black & Pink in their Holiday Letter Writing Campaign. They will send letters to LGBTQ and HIV-affected folks who are incarcerated to offer them joy and care this holiday season and to remind them the movement is with them as we continue to battle for their rights and freedom. Note: you need access to a printer, envelope, stamps, pens, and pencils!
Open for Applications: C.V. Starr Fund for A/P/A Research
The Asian/Pacific/American Institute at NYU invites you to apply for the C.V. Starr Fund for A/P/A Research. This grant is open to any NYU student, graduate or undergraduate, or scholars (specifically visiting scholars and adjuncts) working on academic and/or community projects with particular emphasis on the New York metropolitan region. The goal of this fund is to promote a convergence of theory and practice in Asian/Pacific/ American Studies and its related fields by providing financial support for research expenses and/or conference participation.
NYU students and scholars may apply for up to $500 to support one of the following:
- Field work and research (may include travel expenses), or - Conference and symposium participation (may include conference fees and travel)
Recipients may be awarded the grant up to two times maximum.
