Segar to Strengthen Youth Leadership Opportunities
Tom Segar, vice president for Student Affairs, is one of 26 higher education leaders recently named an Aspen Index Senior Impact Fellow. The role of the fellows is to explore research, interventions, and strategies to improve the quality of and access to programs that promote youth leadership.
Smith ’81 to Receive Inaugural Diversity Award
During its upcoming summit, the State System will name Debra Evans Smith ’81 one of its inaugural Keepers of the Flame for her contributions to diversity, equity, and inclusion. An IUP Distinguished Alumna, she is a leader of the Black Experience Alumni Committee, a frequent speaker, and a former member of the President’s Commission on Diversity and Inclusion.
