A record 27 prestigious Gilman Scholarships awarded to Clemson University students

A record 27 scholarships were awarded to Clemson University students traveling to 11 different countries this year. The Gilman Scholarship provides up to $5,000 to students who might not otherwise be able to afford international study or internships, allowing them to gain the skills that the program believes are critical to our national security and economic prosperity.

While in residence at ACG, Lyceum scholars and faculty participated in a seminar on the theme of self-knowledge in 5th-century Athenian literature and visited museums and archaeological sites in Athens in their free time.

Two nominations for competitive Astronaut Scholarships net rare double award for Clemson Honors students

Gabe Cutter and Grant Wilkins were among 68 undergraduate students from 45 universities and colleges across the United States who received the award in 2022. Both are double majors — Cutter in computer engineering and economics and Wilkins in computer engineering and mathematics.

The Summer 2022 graduation ceremony for master’s and bachelor’s candidates will take place at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, August 12, 2022, in Clemson’s Littlejohn Coliseum. The ceremonies may also be viewed via live stream on Clemson TV.

This class is geared toward individuals in need of fundamental knowledge of the flexographic printing process and is taught by mixing hands-on training and formal instruction in a flexo printing environment.
