This Just IN!

May 2023 Edition
May is an exciting month in education as we celebrate students of all abilities graduating from high school and postsecondary education. We commend students' hard work and dedication required to reach these milestones. Here at IN!, we continue to be inspired by students' commitment to achieve the goals they set, invested in creating paths for more students with IDD to attend college, and inclusive of anyone that has a college dream. In this newsletter, you will find:

Jazmine Exceeds Expectations

Jazmine, an inaugural inclusive higher education graduate, has accomplished so much since she graduated in 2020 from Elevate at ACC. She has won several awards and accolades from Sky Ridge Medical Center, where she passionately works as a Dietary Technician. Furthermore, Jazmine recently moved into her very own apartment where she now lives independently! She says: "I’m most proud of achieving goals I was told by some that were not possible for me."
We are so proud of Jazmine's personal and professional accomplishments, and we can't wait to see how she continues to exceed expectations.

Jazmine won the Daisy Award for her amazing contributions in the workplace!

Jazmine's parents are so proud of how hard she has worked.

IN! welcomes Elise Kramer, Program Coordinator

Hello! My name is Elise Kramer. I am so excited to join the IN! team and help make Colorado even more inclusive for all.
With a background in PK-12 education, I hope to bring a fresh perspective and new relationships which can help propel our mission forward. I am passionate and invigorated about both education and inclusion, so I couldn't dream up a better career for myself if I tried!
In my free time, I enjoy spending time in the mountains. I am an avid snowboarder, hiker, reader, and traveler, and I spend lots of time with my family.
I look forward to connecting with community members who are passionate about inclusion. Feel free to reach out! I'd love to hear your thoughts, suggestions, or just a hello at elise@inclusivehighered.org
Thank you for believing in inclusive higher education! We invite you to give to our mission and help us continue opening doors and paving paths to inclusive higher education in our state.
