National Night OutGrow your leadership skills, get some volunteer work done, and have fun while promoting 4-H! National Night Out is a fun night sponsored by the FDL Police Department & the Boys and Girls Club with interaction with police officers, games, activities, and giveaways! 4-H is hosting a booth, and we are looking for youth willing to help on Tuesday, Aug 1, 2023, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at the Fairground’s Park.
If interested, just let the UW-Extension Office know!

Cloverbuds Going to the FairCloverbud exhibitors do not receive a premium, but they’ll receive a $1.00 certificate (1/person) from the FDL Agricultural Society to the food stand at the county fair! Cloverbud members will be judged on Tuesday, July 18. Attach your picture to your Cloverbud Card and bring it with you at judging time. The judge will record comments and display your card and photo.

Fall Forum
Wisconsin 4-H and the Wisconsin 4-H Leadership Council are excited to host Fall Forum 2023! Mark your calendars for November 4-5, 2023 at the Green Lake Conference Center in Green Lake, WI.
Fall Forum is a statewide conference that brings 4-H youth and adult leaders together to connect, collaborate, celebrate, and build excitement and energy for a new year of 4-H. It is for youth in grades 7-13, adult volunteers, and staff. It’s a great opportunity for youth and volunteers to discover and explore their sparks and make new friends from all across the state. This year’s theme is “Building Connections in All Directions.” Everyone will leave inspired and ready for a great 4-H year! For more information click here.

Fair Office opened Tuesday, June 6. Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday.

Pre-fair judging: Tuesday, July 18, 1-7 pm - Judging of perishable projects: Flowers and House Plants, Crops, Fruits, Vegetables, Food & Nutrition, and Cloverbud/Exploring.

WEEKLY PARKING PASSPlease fill out this information to request a season parking pass for the 2023 Fond du Lac County Fair. Each pass will come with a specific spot on the grounds you will be assigned for the entire fair. A pass will be generated that MUST be on display in your vehicle to match the parking spot. The pass can be transferred between up to 2 vehicles as long as the license plates of those vehicles are registered with the Fair Office. You may pay for this pass in the Fair Office.

Moo-turnity Ward at the FDL County Fair
The Little Hands on the Farm activity in the Education Center and Moo-turnity Ward is looking for volunteers to help with the “farm chore” activities.
