• The organizing committee for the annual Research Symposium has extended the deadline to March 28 to submit ideas for panel discussions. Join your colleagues at the Research Symposium Wednesday, May 7, as Clemson works to elevate research to the next level. This year's theme is “Navigating an Evolving Academic Landscape.”

• The No. 5 seed Clemson Tigers men's basketball team will face No. 12 seed McNeese in the first round of the 2025 NCAA Tournament today, with tip-off set for 3:15 p.m. on truTV. 

• Lamont A. Flowers, Distinguished Professor of Educational Leadership and the Charles H. Houston Center executive director, has been appointed to the National Science Foundation (NSF) Directorate for STEM Education Advisory Committee. The NSF Directorate for STEM Education funds research and scholarship to advance student learning in STEM.

• The Center for Health Facilities Design and Testing received a Touchstone Award in the Silver Category from the Center for Health Design for their research and evaluation work with Indiana University Health. 

• The Clemson Experimental Forest will host Forest Fest from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on March 29 at the Issaqueena Trailhead in Central, South Carolina. Free and open to the public, Forest Fest is an interactive event designed to connect youth, families, students and the community with the biodiversity of the Upstate while highlighting the importance of environmental stewardship and natural resource management.
