It’s time to get real about life as graduate students. The Office of Graduate Education is looking for grad students who are willing to journal their day-to-day life and finances for three to seven days. The Grad Diaries will shed light on shared challenges, successes, and emotions that students balance while navigating through graduate school. Please note: The form to submit a journal entry is comprehensive and may take time to complete.

Dissertation Defense Room now accepting graduate students
|
Starting this semester all masters students are welcome to use the library's fourth-floor Dissertation Defense Room, located in Price Gilbert, to defend their thesis. The Georgia Tech Library Dissertation Defense Room is a space where PhD and Master's candidates can host, defend, stream, and record their dissertation.

The Career, Research, and Innovation Development Conference (CRIDC) is Georgia Tech’s annual professional development event designed to equip graduate students with the tools and knowledge necessary to thrive in the constantly evolving job market. CRIDC 2023 takes place on February 1 and is free to attend.
This year's CRIDC will feature 5 professional development sessions.

Registration for 3MT is open

The Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) competition challenges students to effectively explain their research in three minutes, in a language appropriate to a non-specialist audience. Preliminary rounds will be held March 7, 8, & 9. The 3MT final competition takes place April 6, 2023. Registration is open now until February 10.

National Endowment for the Humanities Fellowship

Learn more about the National Endowment of the Humanities Fellowship. These fellowships support individuals pursuing advanced research in the humanities that contributes to scholarly knowledge or to the general public's understanding of the humanities. The final deadline to apply is April 12, 2023.
