Week of November 22

Thanksgiving Holiday

Gobble! Gobble! A reminder that Thanksgiving week, November 23-27, is a student holiday. Extended Day is also closed. St. Michael’s will use this weekend, Monday, and Tuesday to move furniture and prepare classrooms for the return of all students.
St. Michael’s will be closed Wednesday-Sunday for Thanksgiving. Emails and calls received during that time will be addressed on Monday, November 30.
Wishing all of our Dragons a safe and blessed week!

A Special Message of Thanks from the St. Michael's Parents' Association to Faculty

To St. Michael’s Faculty and Staff: We Are Thankful for You!
How lucky are we Dragons
To have heroes in our midst?
When we count our blessings,
YOU always top our list!

You keep us safe and healthy
When so much is unknown.
Through all our masks and desk shields,
Your love has always shown.

Your devotion to us Dragons
Never ceases to amaze.
You’ve poured all of your magic
Into our half-days.

And as your work continues
To bring us back as one,
We are so very thankful
For everything you’ve done (and DO)!

The SMPA hopes everyone who works at St. Michael’s knows HOW MUCH we appreciate your countless long hours and hard work. You have continued to provide our children a safe, loving, and enriching environment through this challenging time.  This Thanksgiving, we are truly THANKFUL for all you do!

Remain Vigilant

As you celebrate the holiday, PLEASE REMEMBER that your off-campus choices can affect the entire St M community. As COVID case numbers are rising locally and in our region, we urge you to continue to prioritize safe health practices (masks, physical distancing, hand-washing, limiting larger group sizes) so that we have the best chance of keeping our community healthy and our school doors open. As a resource, please review the CDC’s advice for upcoming holiday celebrations and gatherings.
If at any point during the holiday a member of your family feels ill or you believe that your family has been exposed to any kind of illness, please keep your child(ren) home the week of November 30.
Our popular annual Holiday Pop-Up Shop is a perfect way to show your DRAGON PRIDE while picking up St M stocking stuffers and holiday gifts!  The pandemic necessitates that we do this VIRTUALLY this year.

We will launch a special holiday website to take orders for ONE week only: December 7-11.

Purchased items will be available for parent pick-up via a one day holiday "drive-thru" at the school on SUNDAY, December 13. Additional details will be sent out by December 4.

We have lots of exciting St. Michael's-themed items planned -- two different designs of Christmas ornaments, new Silipint tumblers, St M ties, scarves and bow ties, journals, acrylic trays, pennants, water bottles, scrunchies, new hat designs, garden flags, stuffed dragons, and more!  Supplies are limited so don't hesitate.
Note: Due to the wide array of sizes, apparel gifts should be ordered directly through our standard spiritwear website. Details on our NEW cold weather items are below.
