On Sunday, October 6, 2024 the Department of Campus Safety received a report of a fondling that occurred at approximately 2:56 p.m., across the street from Palladium Hall (140 East 14th Street) in Manhattan.
An NYU student was on walking west on 14th Street across from Palladium Hall when an unknown person walking east slapped their buttocks as they passed by each other. The unknown individual continued walking east without saying anything. There was no further interaction reported.
No physical injuries were reported. The student was offered support services. The student declined to report to the NYPD.
Description of Suspect: The suspect was described as male-presenting with a dark complexion and facial hair. They were wearing a long grey dress and a hooded sweatshirt.
