New Video Featuring Texas CASA's Anti-Child Trafficking Consultant, Rhonda Kuykendall
When we consider the child welfare system, a stark reality emerges: children are at an alarmingly high risk of falling prey to sex trafficking. A study conducted by The University of Texas at Austin revealed that a quarter of youth in care were at risk of trafficking in 2022 alone. For Human Trafficking Prevention Month this January, learn how we're taking proactive steps with our CASA ACT — Anti-Child Trafficking — framework by watching the new video featuring ACT Consultant, Rhonda Kuykendall.

Recruitment Bounty: Tip of the Month
Since word of mouth is considered the number one recruitment tool, think of how you can make it easy for current volunteers to spread the word to their social circles. Consider having recruitment materials (brochures, videos, volunteer descriptions, your information session or training calendar, an application, etc.) in an easy-to-access place online. If internet access isn’t always reliable, you can put all of the materials on a flash/thumb drive and hand it out to staff, board, volunteers, judges, etc.
